Q: When and where are games played?
The club currently plays in the Maitland & District Cricket Association for our senior teams and the Maitland & District Junior competition for junior teams. Junior games are played every Saturday morning of the season from 8:00am with Senior games commencing from 12:00pm dependant on the Grade.
Teams are required to play throughout the Maitland region as far away as Kurri Kurri.
Q: When is club training?
We hold a net session every Wednesday afternoon between 4:00pm and 6:00pm at Shamrock Oval abnd a fielding session from 4:00pm until 5:00pm every Friday at East Maitland Park.
Q: What are the club fee's for the season?
Senior players are required to pay $350 per player for the season.
Junior Players are required to pay $150 per player for the season.
Junior players that wish to play nominate for Senior Grade selection will be required to pay an additional $100 on top of their standard Junior Grade fees.
Q: What do my fees cover?
Player fees cover the following expenses:
- Affiliation fee ($45.00 per club)
- Team Entry ($150 per team)
- Player insurance ($75 per team)
- Umpire fees ($60 per umpire, per match)
- Cricket balls (Approximately $7,000 per year for the club)
- Playing Kit (Playing pants, Polo & Cap - $80 per player)
- Groundskeeper fees ($3,000-$4,000 per year for the club)
Q: Are payment plans available?
Yes, instalments are available through the MyCricket registration process.
Q: Can I use an Active Kids voucher?
Yes, the club is able to provide further information on the voucher program for parents on sign up days.
